Dr. Elena Ruiz received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and later received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Medical School at Houston. She completed her pediatric residency at New York University Medical Center and is board certified in pediatrics. After finishing her residency in New York, she moved back to Austin and joined Bee Caves Pediatrics to work with her father, Dr. David Ruiz, co-founder of Bee Caves Pediatrics. She and her father practiced together for 2 years before he retired, passing the family medical practice to his daughter. She is married with three loving children and her husband, Dr. Lee Moroz is a well-respected interventional spine physician in Austin. In her spare time, Dr. Elena Ruiz enjoys cooking, gardening and playing tennis with her family.

Dr. Lydia Norton received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Loyola University in New Orleans and then her M.D. from Louisiana State University  School of Medicine in New Orleans.  She then completed her pediatric residency at LSU in New Orleans. After finishing residency, Dr. Norton went to work with her father, a family practice physician in Louisiana, where she continued in her family's long medical tradition.  In 2005, Hurricane Katrina sent Dr. Norton on an unexpected journey to Austin.  She then joined Bee Caves Pediatrics. She is currently board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She and her husband with their three children love Austin and are continuing to bring a little of Louisiana to Texas.  Go Saints!

Dr. Eugenia Garcia graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and subsequently received her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She then completed her pediatric residency from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and is board certified in pediatrics. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. After residency she and her husband Dr. Carlos Meza, also a UT graduate, lived and worked in the Houston-Galveston area. Since relocating in 2009, they are now proud parents of three young daughters and are thrilled to be raising their family in the Austin community. In her spare time, Dr. Eugenia Garcia enjoys reading, watching a good movie and exploring the outdoors with her family.

Dr. Mark Grier received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois. Next he attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine to receive his M.D.  He then completed his pediatric residency at LSU in New Orleans. He is currently board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In his free time he enjoys reading, writing, and listening to all forms of music (anything from classical music to good old Austin rock and roll). College and professional football watching is a must, he says. But the majority of Dr. Grier's free time is spent enjoying life here in beautiful Austin with his family and friends. He is a proud parent to a beautiful set of twins.

Shannon Campbell, PA-C, completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas in Austin in 1994 and then received a Bachelor of Physician Assistant Studies in 1997 from the University of Texas Branch, Galveston, in a partnership with UT Pan American in Edinburg, TX.  She came back to Austin as soon as possible and spent a year at Capital Family Practice in Westlake.  She was excited to be offered an opportunity to practice Pediatrics with Bee Caves Pediatrics in 1998 and has been happily focusing on children's health ever since.  She and her husband Scott have had a good deal of pediatric learning experiences throughout the years while raising their three children.

Our office manager, Steve Hudson, completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin.  He has worked in the healthcare industry for almost 20 years, gaining experience in many different capacities including general administration, billing, human resources, and operations management. Steve completed his Masters of Business Administration degree in 2021 with a focus on Healthcare Management. He enjoys reading, outdoor activities, playing the drums, and spending time with his wife and three children.
